Konstantin grcic's OSB hack table for vitra created for office environments

created as a versatile desk for office settings, the ‘hack’ unit by konstantin grcic for vitra is a table system that has been specially developed to cater to the requirements of companies and employees. stripped down from any decorative elements, the desk is made simply from OSB wood. robust and functional; the user has the option to adjust the tabletop to their desired height – whether standing or sitting – and in its lowest position can used as a sofa.

for companies who may have changing numbers of staff or a small office space; each hack unit forms an autonomous element whose adaptability allows it to satisfy various needs. it can be folded up into a practical, flat ‘box’ in just a few simple steps, making it easy to dismantle, transport and store. produced with sustainability in mind, the tables are manufactured on site in an energy-efficient manner, with wooden parts that are locally produced and assembled by vitra using prefabricated metal hardware.
